Chana - I see what you mean about him. His torso is actually the same dimensions as the male Republic Officer's. I think he just looks a lot bulkier because the armor and costume designs of the other sprites draw the eye down the length of the character, whereas the farm clothes one is really only broken up into top & bottom by the belt, which does make him look a bit top heavy.

Hello Panda is correct. I probably gave it away to early with the mention of blood. =)
Anyone who hasn't played it yet... SHOULD!

No.
Clue #2 - (This one only helps if you were around on GamingW a couple years ago) I was particularly skilled at using the youngest one.
Wow, that really didn't sound right.
Clue #3 - Copious amounts of blood.

I need someone to pixel my final bosses for me!
Not sure if my usual style would be right for your game, but here are some samples from one of my old projects. The one on the end of the first row is actually a kind of Golemn, or Evil Doll.

If you'd like me to take a stab at your boss for you, send me a PM with any relevant details/concept stuff. If not, no hard feelings =)

After I got home from band practice, I spent a little time on spriting. The one in the Mandalorian armor is an old sprite, I've kind of been using him as the gold standard for my armored costumes, and to make sure that the newer stuff stays in a sort of consistent style.
I'm pleased with the aliens so far, though I do need to darken some of the shading on the Twi-lek.
Sprites: Farm planet garb, female Jedi garb, scout garb, alien soldier garb, commando garb, Mandalorian Armor, Rodian Strikes back, Selkath security officer, Republic Officer Male and Female, Noble/Engineer.
I'm planning on using the basic archetypes, so if you see some variation of the scout outfit on an enemy, you know something about his tactics. There will be lots of head pasting and palette swaps involved.

I got a weird glitch on the Deadpool link. When I hovered over the meat armor image, the "caption" that came up was Deantoni Parks. I'd like to think that Deadpool was going to be drumming for the Mars Volta.
Also:
Ancient Hero's Jockstrap - Bonus to armor, adds Support abilities, and allows you to summon a cloud of flies at will. Very bad for stealth though, at least against any creature with a nose.
